I do the artwork for BLI and your inquiry was noted to me from my BLI guy. I responded to him that I was well aware of the situation.  I will do Black on the next runs of E units.  I have noted in the past that Red seemed to sell better than the Black but as you point out if you model Pre-1959 you have to have Black
