Stan:

The built/rebuilt date according to Wabash records is 1942 but most likely it
was rebuilt in 1942 as I suspect it was built sometime in the late 20s. It
matches the style and architecture of other Wabash towers built in that time
period including Milan, Michigan, Wolcottville, Indiana and perhaps DeCamp,
Illinois.

I am not modeling Jacksonville but following the dimensions for my "Union
Tower" in HO. I can tell you that it appears that the standard width on these
towers was 17'-2 but the length varied depending on the number of levers in the
frame. I started building the distintive three pane upper sash windows and need
to duplicate them in resin.

I have a mock-up of the tower built now and will start on the model soon. At
this point I am more interested in the interior layout, number of levers, how
the plant was laid out, etc.

I will glad to share anything I have on this tower and post photos of the
completed model here.
