Rupert et al...Rule 108 IS a summary.....Burlington Lines RULES OF THE 
OPERATING DEPARTMENT effective December 1, 1929...  

MOVEMENT OF TRAINS:   108  In case of doubt or uncertainty the safe course must 
be taken.   That's it.

The rule is one of those that has always been and still is...it was the same on 
all railroads.

My grandfather always said of the Rock Port Langdon and Northern..."We only 
have one rule"....Proceed as the way is seen and known to be clear"
