Hi Bill, Thanks for posting those files. They are very helpful, as I am modeling the Dubuque CBQ freight house. In the 1953 listing Dubuque loaded a car for Prairie du Chein and it is listed as a "way car". Would this be a car carried by the way freight and dropped off LCL at each town between Dubuque and PDC? It is interesting in 1953 a car traveled from Dubuque to Galena, only about 15 miles. Anyone know anything about meat reefers operating as LCL cars on designated routes and schedules delivering meat? Thanks for all the help. ted At 09:12 AM 12/20/2010, you wrote: >Leo, > >I've uploaded two Excel spreadsheets that show CB&Q LCL routings for >1948 and 1953.
