You mention "texting" as being the same as those guys doing morse, well it is true! There is a kind of fad going around called "STEAMPUNK", where people dress and act in an alternate universe. Think of it as Victorian science fiction, HG Wells, or the things from the Wild Wild West. Anyway, these "steampunks" make all kinds of gadgets mixing old and new. They might have a fully operating PC, but it would be made of brass and wood and look like it is from 1890s. These guys are tech savy and have a fasination with old stuff. A telegragh is just as cool as an Ipod. Some of these folks are actually making their own telegraph eqipment, cutting out and shaping the brass parts themselves. The really cool thing about this is, they have wired these things up, to computers and made softwear, so that when people send them a text message on the phone, the messages are converted, and their home made (or recoverd origianl) sounders chatter away in morse! ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
