After I left some kind TM disposed of the bunk not too long before the depot 
came down

Steve,  looking back at sleeping accommodations that I made use of,  
Lewiston,Ill in the freight room of the depot,  Sterling, Ill. same  
room, West Quincy, Mo back room of yard office, and Burlington, Ia.  
second floor of depot, and also Keokuk, Ia second floor of old depot.  
These quarters were provided for the enginemen but the train crew  
often rode in on their coat tails.
