It was called "The Paper Trail"  and some of the depots went down with it 
intact 
others the agent was instructed to destroy it.  Some has survived
May be the title for a new column.

List,  I have seen these small suspended rooms above the freight room  
in several of the old depots and they were usually filled with records  
and paperwork that went back several years.  Archie
