Well...
Blomberg was a Pullman engineer, THEN an EMC/EMD engineer. The
the earlier worms were designed by him (in terms of the car body a&
trucks). The EA was, I think, the first EMC locomotive with the 3
axle trucks. The E1s and E2s were just a little bit later. But he
did design all the power trucks on the UP articulated sets. So...
