Thanks Ryan Just 4 more working days after today
I think the problem with the old Q Sub cars is they are not FRA crash worthy.
Course built long before the FRA showed up and have lasted and are still very
serviceable. Just not modern and high tech like the rest of METRA junk we try
and run. Nothing like an old fart to keep you going

Subject: [CBQ] Cutting out brakes?
I was down in LaGrange the other day watching the evening Dinky parade
when a train was forced to stop because an x-Q coach's brakes were
sticking. A crew member went back to 'cut out' the truck, my question
is how? Can they bypass one truck or the whole car?
Also a sad note if anybody hasn't noticed, all the x-Q cab cars have
been turned into regular coaches; the cabs have been removed and plated
over.
