If the cabs are being removed from the ex-Q cab cars, what are they using for cab cars these days? sjl --- On Fri, 11/6/09, ryan_gash <gasher28@yahoo.com> wrote: From: ryan_gash <gasher28@yahoo.com> Subject: [CBQ] Cutting out brakes? To: CBQ@yahoogroups.com Date: Friday, November 6, 2009, 12:01 AM I was down in LaGrange the other day watching the evening Dinky parade when a train was forced to stop because an x-Q coach's brakes were sticking. A crew member went back to 'cut out' the truck, my question is how? Can they bypass one truck or the whole car? Also a sad note if anybody hasn't noticed, all the x-Q cab cars have been turned into regular coaches; the cabs have been removed and plated over. http://www.flickr. com/photos/ 27703045@ N03/4079917522/ <http://www.flickr. com/photos/ 27703045@ N03/4079917522/> Ryan Gash Oak Park, IL P.S. - Congrats on the retirement Steve, I'll miss hearing SAM JOHN HENRY on the Union Ave. dispatcher!
