Thank you for the information. Think we have reached the
barrier here between knowledge and interest. As soon as
I hear about the CB&Q's numbered trucks or car classes
there is a mental switch that goes to the "off" mode.
Since I actually worked for the CB&Q I prefer to keep
my memories free from all this new clutter.

The No.7 truck was the 5'-0" wheelbase wood beam passenger style truck
used under all cupola wood waycars (except the one that had allied full
cushion trucks applied as an experiment,
nitpickers!!!).
The NE12 was the welded Havelock-built car with the "streamlined" cupola.
First few were painted Orange and looked really ugly (must have been the
rivet-less flat sides...the NE-10s looked
fine in that color).
The NE13 were the Q's version of the standard Morrision-International
Extended Vision cupola car. They had several batches and they were painted
in the same Silver version of the freight F Unit
Black Stripe Edged in Red scheme that the NE12s were repainted/delivered
in.
