Congrat's...you got the "official terminology" correct..."?Dry Hopper" it
is...Anybody remember the official name of the stationary variety located at
most small town stations...
Just to show you I do...it was? "Dry Closet"...There were even "standard plans"
for these.? I believe that one was featured in a "data sheet" a few years ago.

I don't recall using the toilets in the 7100 or 7200 series commuter
coaches.... they might have had dry hoppers but even on the
mainline equipment you could see straight through to the ties when you flushed
and the flapper opened.
