BTW, if you do go looking at the CCR database or other records, remember
that for the 12-1 you are looking for a plan 3410-3410a car. CB&Q had a
LOT of 2410a and 2410f cars - which are more like the Rivarossi models
(i.e. shorter than the Branchline & Walthers cars, with rounded ends
instead of pedimented ends, with different lower sides, etc.). Also
remember that the Branchline cars are just the first batch. There will be
more and more variety coming - and, Intermountain will be doing more
builtups that haven't been done (so they may do the CB&Q version).
You can get the plan numbers that the cars represent on the Branchline web
site, and cross reference them on the CCR database at the Pullman Project
web site.
