Whoa, Harold, switch to decaf for a few days! :-)
I'm *from* Nebraska, and only interested in the Q *in* Nebraska, and
have never been able to go to a meet yet since I live in California
and was raising a family here.
But I certainly appreciate the BRHS and everything that its members
and officers are doing. It is a wonderful resource and I take it as
it is, and if I were to walk away from it right now I would be far
ahead for my $30/year investment (which I think will be going up to
$60/year on my next renewal.)
What investment do you have in the BRHS that is being lost or
squandered in the current situation? I know of magazine subscriptions
alone that cost $30 (or $60), and people take them as they are.
I have gotten well more than my investment in the Society, and if I
were unhappy with the state of affairs I would try to work on a
solution instead of sitting back and complaining. Or maybe you have
an alternate resource that deserves your support more?
Best regards,
Randy
