The first 4-8-4s (at least in the US) were delivered to the Northern
Pacific in 1926. Whence the name "Northern." The first of that class
on the Burlington came in 1930. I don't know about the other roads you
mention, but you might want to adjust (just slightly) the date of your
photos. Good luck tracking down your engine!
