Jon,
The town Harold can't remember is Gebo:-) It was a company town (coal mining)
just north of Crosby and directly west of Kirby (all were served by the Q).
Anyway. I live about 30 miles north of Thermopolis in Worland and am frequently
through that area. Let me know if you need anything "scouted."

Hello Q list. There are 5 crane photos in Spoor's color guide, pages 124/125.
Is there anyone else modeling the Wind River canyon and Thermopolis circa 1955.
I am just about to lay track on that section of my layout and decided I really
need to find out more about the Q.

I've got two of the old HO Tyco heavy cranes that I want to repaint in "Q"
colors. I'm supposed to be getting the "CB&Q Color Guide to Freight and
Passenger Equipment" book in a week or so, does anyone know if this has pics
of one, and if not, where else might be a source?

Cheers!

Jan
