Dave,

Will it still be acceptable for those of us who are not
dealor/vendors to pass on to the list "FYI announcements" about BR
related books & products that may interest our list members?

For example, I usually post to the list any BR O-gauge model
offerings that I hear about just to keep other interested members
informed. Since I am not a dealor, vendor, stock holder, or employee
of any model manufacturer or publisher, I do not profit from these
postings in any way and therefore I do not consider these posts to
be "commercial".

Can we still make these type of posts with out any restrictions ?
Should we follow the above guidelines for them and also mark
them "commercial", even though in these cases we are not the
seller/manufacturer/publisher ?

I certainly want to understand and follow the rules.

Thanks for your efforts with maintaining the high quality of BRHSlist.
