I'll agree on the speaker enclosure being a big factor in the sound output as
you can tell the difference. A friend of mine put installed a Soundtrax in
his F unit about the same time as mine (both 1" speakers) with his enclosure
being maybe 3/16" shallower than mine. I decided to remove more of the frame
above the rear truck than he did to have a deeper enclosure and the sound
quality was worth the extra effort.
