The D&RGW 1908 rule book has exactly the same verbiage. I suspect you'll
have to locate earlier rule books to find the complete answer. The OS
description (I sent), and the abbreviation are as they appear in the rule
books.

hours looking for documentation on this, as I stated, and it is older than
