some years ago Mantua also produced stock cars[not in Q]--with a vertical door rather than horizontal--athearn has a horizontal stock car door[however the slats are off size] to the mantua car--this

Paul, The only stock cars that are a good match for the Q are the resin kits from Sunshine, the Mather cars from Proto 2000 and a brass car from Oriental(???). The Sunshine kit is a great choice as a

All, La Belle Woodworking has the stock car HO-53 lettered for the Denver and Ft. Worth (a branch of the Q) but as far as I can tell it is the same. But alas, modelers would have to build something a
