Baking brass in a microwave? Won't that short out the oven? I suppose baking a plastic model in a microwave oven would work if you didn't have it powered up too much? Mike

I strip the clear coat off by soaking in lacquer thinner, brushing it off with a tooth brush. I then grit blast for a surface the paint can really adhere to. Then oven bake for about an hour at 125F
