- Steve, Great answer on the Silver Rapids. One minor correction, though. The PRR bought a bunch of 10-6 sleepers from Pullman-Standard and a few from ACF, but the Silver Rapids was the only Budd built

- Check Wayners Cars Name Numbers and Consists. I believe there were two other PRR Budd Pullmans. If I recall, one was named Sturgeon Rapids. sjl

- I have seen a photo of Silver Rapids after being lettered for Penn Central and although it might be dirt on the roof it does appear that the sleeper has a black roof. The Pennsy used Silver Rapids in
