- Leo, They used to have a switch tender at both ends of the yard when I fired Dinkies. Ralph was the tender on the East end in the morning and would line everyone up into the yard. Sam was the tender

- John, BN 2248 was indeed Q971 according to the 1971 BN Annual. BN caboose 10272 was NP 10111. It was built in 1962 by Morrison - International . The dimensions were 30' 0" in length X 8' 81/8 " wide
