I decided that the doghouse on the tops of my Walthers E7's REALLY should be replaced. And moved, of course. Does anyone have a good photo of this type of exhaust? If I'm going to the trouble to buil

Bill, Thanks much for responding. I'm modeling 9935A and 9935B (the numbers Walthers chose) with the red nose stripes. Here's a shot of 9935A without the doghouse--presumably at a time previous to my

Jim, Yes, I do see what look like two intakes and one exhaust. But on the later E's, there are sometimes what look like 4 intakes and two exhausts. So, if two intakes means two boilers, then 4 intake

In the photo of 6458, I'm only seeing one bell. And it's hard to believe one is hiding behind. An EXCELLENT photo, I will add. Rooftop photos are pretty rare, and ones like this one should be treasur

I recently picked up my Walthers E9's--the new ones just out. While perhaps short of perfection, I do think they look very nice. Awhile back, I also bought two of the "matching" E7's--plated and "red

Bob, My E7's are numbered 9935 A and B. There appears to be two intake stacks and one exhaust, which appears to be the correct quantity. But they're shaped wrongly and placed incorrectly. I received

A very minor one, I think: The "extra" baggie contains what looks to me to be a spare cab seat (cast in black plastic). "HUH?", I say. "Why?" I also say. To the someone who knows: Is that what it is?

I can see some sort of "thing" on the side of the diaphragm I am describing. It sort of looks like a class-light housing, though that would not be what it was. That is why I think there IS a diaphrag
