James,

 

  I was hostling at 14th street in 1977 and they had an open house at Cicero yard. I don’t remember them running a tour train but they did have an E9 commuter locomotive on display on a track which is now called the Ceco side of Cicero yard. Hourse 9 was still in use and the dispatchers were still housed upstairs. The locomotive was displayed on the east end.

  I want to say in the 80’s they ran the tour train down to Galesburg for RR days. I know the engineer who ran that train and the next time I talk to him and get a timeframe for you.
