Scott:  I assume you are planning to model the trio in HO-scale.  The best options are  undecorated Highliner kits for A- and B-units, which are very hard to find.  If you can find an Athearn phase 2 F3 in Q colors that would be an ideal starting point. Stewart Models (now sold through Bowser) also did a slightly less detailed version of the F3 phase 2 units.  Note that these are rail fan designations, EMD and the railroads made no such distinctions based on detail changes.
Here are a few details to keep in mind:
These were the only F-units on the Q that did not have dynamic brakes.
(The rectangular slots on the roof between the cab and radiator fans, which were the tall version on these units as built, were the dynamic brake grids on freight units so equipped.)
The roof-top grab irons were unique to passenger units, even the B-unit had grab irons over the rear access doors and on the ends of the roof.
Both A units had a low slung version of the "Wagon wheel" style radio antennae and a small nose access door on the fireman's side of the headlight.
I have included a shot of the 9960A from Tom Chenowith that illustrates some of these details.HOPE THIS HELPS.  Jim Sandrin
