Bill, yes.. what you say about the landscape crossed my mind when I 
found the clip, but I was so excited to find an image associated, 
perhaps mistakenly or misleadingly, with the Burlington that I 
overlooked it.  It crossed my mind that, "Ok- maybe the Santa Fe used 
more than one locomotive to get from K. C. to Pasadena, and why not!"  I 
hadn't thought about it till that point but now I see, thanks to all the 
comments here,  that it must have been the case. A Santa Fe Mikado 3157 
rolled into the Lamanda Park Station in Pasadena at arrival on April 
10th and there are lots of pictures of that.  But what was used where 
along the way I guess would be an open question.  I now know a Pacific 
was involved somewhere along the line west of K.C. but what else, and 
what on the Burlington, remains in the mists.  -DR
