Sarah:
The Intermountain lettering shown is quite accurate for the C&S hoppers as delivered in 1919. By the first time they were repainted in the 1930s, however, they received the rectangular Burlington Route herald in place of the circular C&S "button" herald.
Then beginning in the early 1940s the script "Everywhere West" slogan was added on both sides, and that's the way they remained until their retirement. I'm attaching a 1970 photo showing this lettering pretty clearly.

Subject: [CBQ] C&S Two Bay Hoppers
Dear Group,
I would like to ask you about the accuracy of that Intermountain 2 bay hopper's lettering for the C&S.
It is the plan to make decals for many more cars but not without your consultation. I was not able to find prototype pictures aside of some for the CB&Q. Don't know a lot about the Colorado Road's lettering for the mid 1940's.
Your help is highly appreciated!
Kind regards
Sarah Griessenboeck
