I am not a Q expert, but I remember reading - somewhere - about the 2 step, step stool specially made for the Pioneer Zephyr. I do not recall ever coming across any indication that the same was done for 9901 - 9902 - 9903 - or the B&M Flying Yankee, but it is possible. It may have been that a better design of trap steps was figured out by the time the later trains were ordered. Pat _._,_._,_
