Louis..That photo is driving me crazy as to location...in 59 the PZ was still running Lincoln-St. Joe..Lincoln about midnight..St. Joe early am..Lv St. Joe about 11:00 am for Lincoln via Table Rock..THEREFORE I'm thinking it might be Table Rock with the train heading around the south leg of the wye which would make it south of the depot on the Wymore line..those tank cars are on the north or east side of the depot on the siding on the Line to Lincoln.  If that's correct the time would be around noon or a bit after..train will run to Wymore via Table Rock as No. 41 then as 90 Wymore to Lincoln.  

How about it Mike Bartels or anybody else familiar with the territory.

Keith - Like it's said, a picture can be worth a thousand words.... I've attached a rear view of the Pioneer Zephyr taken in 1959 at an unknown location.  The image clearly shows the rear-facing lights.  Merry Christmas - Louis
