This may not answer your question but may clear up some confusion.   C&S 801 was part of a small group of E-4A 2-8-2s built by Baldwin in 1911, very similar to the Q O-1s , built during the same period.   800-804 were unique in that they had 57" drivers and 26 1/2 x 30 cylinders.  Their engine weight was about 22,000 lbs less than the O-1s.   The O-4s were USRA heavy 2-8-2s built in 1919 by Baldwin.   These and the other Q 2-8-2 had 63" or 64" drivers and 27x30 cylinders.   The O-4s were numbered in the 5500 series.   Six were sold to C&S in 1957 and renumbered 804-809.   All of these engines lasted well into the 1950s, including 801, which was scrapped in Sept 1956.   My sources for this data are Bernard Corbin's Steam Locomotives of the Burlington Route and Hol Wagner's The Colorado Road.   I also have Howard Fogg's LPs with C&S 807 on them.
