Don’t get me started, cause I would make Lynsey Graham look like a choir boy!

Group - It would be a terrible shame to let this Class O-5-A slip away unseen in the wilds of Wyoming unloved and unappreciated by the citizens of Sheridan. Incidentally, to my best knowledge, the Q's 4-8-4s never operated on the Sheridan Division. I've attached two images showing No. 5631 at Galesburg, IL, in 1962 ready to be moved to Sheridan for display. Scrapping is always a distinct possibility when the city fathers decide that what was once a beautiful monument to the community's railroad past is now deemed irrelevant and an eyesore in this digital age..... Best Regards - Louis

Google street view from August 2009 shows the bell and lamp in place.

I belong to the only Sheridan model RR club that I know of and we have nothing to do with the 5631's missing appliances. I don't know who or what organization has the items. It makes no difference to the general public viewing the loco whether the headlight, bell, etc were removed for safe keeping or were stolen. The result is the same, the locomotive looks bad without them. In my opinion the best thing to do would be to firmly weld these items onto the loco and hope for the best.
