Ray,
I believe I heard there is a local Model RR Club that has removed them for work.
I just got back from a trip to the NNGC and the BRHS meet. I stopped in St. Joseph and saw the 35 in the Pattee House. I also saw the 5614 in the park. The last time I saw it many years ago there was no cover or trees there.

Just came back from a long vacation, that included a stop in Sheridan Wy. Took photos of 4-8-4 5631 and several Q buildings. Really disappointed in the condition of the display for 5631. I assume that the City fathers have more pressing issues that drain the City budget.
The headlight and bell are missing and I think the whistle is as well. It could use a new coat of paint and some TLC. Guess there is no local group that has any interest in it. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next 10 years, it goes to a scrapper.
Would be nice if it could be moved to a different location, one that is more populated and that would appreciated having this on display.

PS The plaque refers to this as a "Mohawk”!
