Sorry, forgot the image.  Here it is.  The turntable here is an earlier one, and the one installed in 1927 had no truss or arch structure over it; just the bridge structure.

Here's a postcard image that should give you the relative positioning of the facilities at St. Francis.  As you may or may not be aware, the St. Francis turntable is in use today at the roundhouse of the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden.  When received from BN, it still wore the coat of mineral red paint it had received when installed at St. Francis in 1927, complete with the stenciled date it was painted.

I do have one book on the Burlington and found a small picture of the turntable. By reference I could tell it was just south of the white tanks, still there, that is either a fuel or fertilizer dealer.  I went in Google Earth and found  the ties you mentioned.  Looks like he area of the turntable and engine house has become a junk pile.
