Most of the scrapping done at Lincoln was done at the Havelock shop complex.  That gantry in the photo is the ash pit conveyor.  There were similar ones at Denver and Creston, and probably at other engine terminals, too.

Quite a number of new Q steam photos on eBay.

1)Take a look at item 122162738790, my first thought was the photo was taken the Eola Reclamation plant given the locos tenderness condition along with being shoved against an ancient gon. And also the overhead crane. But there are too many tracks as the scrap dock only had two. Can anyone identify the location ?

2) look at item 322281011101,where would this have been used ? Shops had set hours,train and engine crews had assigned start times.....
