Thread-topic: [CBQ] Left handed engines

Took me about 15 minutes to adjust to driving in England -- including downtown London -- and dealing with traffic circles (roundabouts), which have since become quite common in this country.  The hardest thing was negotiating the very narrow country roads that barely left room for two cars to pass -- and had dense vegetation up to the edge of the road on each side!  Also, I did it with a stick shift the first time and it was something of a process learning to depress the clutch pedal with the "wrong" foot!

I will agree. While stationed in Germany I made several trips to England and drove around quite a bit even in downtown London. The only problem was when I first got there was making a left turn I wanted to go into the right lane.

But then I returned to Germany on a Saturday and Monday morning at 3 am they called an alert. I grabbed my stuff went out and threw it in my car, backed out as started down the road on the left side. Oops!
