There was a Yale & Reagan Construction company that owned some locomotives, and that would be consistent with the string of dump cars in the photo. And the gondola sure looks like it's loaded with coal, not sugar beets.

The caption reads CB&Q RR #1333, however if you look at the engine it does not show that number. It looks like it says Y&R on the engine and Yale & ? on the tender. Anyone have any thoughts on history of this engine? The handcar is lettered CB&Q. You can see three men adding water to the tender.
