I've seen this photo before on an album page, with the caption at the bottom referring to a photo below this one of the Scottsbluff coal chute in about 1910-11.  The line from Alliance south to Northport/Bridgeport, then west through Scottsbluff to Guernsey was built in 1899-1900.  A beet sugar factory was built by Great Western Sugar at Scottsbluff in 1910 and in 1920 the Burlington built four sugar beet spurs extending to the north of its mainline through the North Platte River valley, one of those spurs starting just east of Scottsbluff.  The Yale & Reagan Construction locomotive and dump cars were being used in the construction of a new beet dump and its associated side tracks at Scottsbluff to serve the new factory.  (Beet sugar refineries were always known as factories.)

[Attachment(s) from harleyhorse74@gmail.com [CBQ] included below] Here is a photo I have showing CB&Q gondola 80195 with a load of sugar beets taken in Scottsbluff, NE.  The caption reads CB&Q RR #1333, however if you look at the engine it does not show that number.  It looks like it says Y&R on the engine and Yale & ? on the tender.  Anyone have any thoughts on history of this engine?  The handcar is lettered CB&Q.  You can see three men adding water to the tender.
