Hello Duncan, Rupert and All - What goes around........In the late 1950s-early'60s, the Wabash came back from Keokuk to Golden, then on the Q to Quincy, and finally down to Hannibal. This completely avoided the bridge at Meredosia. I do not know which side of the river they ran on between Quincy and Hannibal. The track was the Burlington's and the Wabash used it for access to Quincy, meaning that something else resulted in the Wabash switching the operations of its Keokuk line from Clayton to Bluffs.
