That spur would be it.  As far as I know that was the only switch 
between Farmington and Mt. Sterling.  As for Dry Ridge, that was not a 
point on the railroad but a local reference to the top of that eastbound 
grade out of Farmington.  It is now almost entirely within the confines 
of the Shimek State Forest.  The siding where the first cut of a train 
that was doubled was dropped is approximately mid way between Farmington 
and Donnelson, almost due south of Primrose, IA.
