The BRHS roster does not show GP40s 620-639 as FW&D units, it shows them correctly as CB&Q units.  And the FW&D GP38-2s were post-merger power and thus are not included in the roster on the BRHS website.

Wow, thanks for all the great responses, but I am as confused as ever.

Norm in a separate message let me know that there were FWD sub lettered GP38-2s.  This series of responses indicates that the GP 40's listed in the Society roster as being FW&D were never FW&D.  The society rosters don't show any GP-38 of any kind that I can find.

It would seem the society rosters made by Rupert and Brian for the CB&Q are very incorrect with respect to the above mentioned units!!!

Hol, can you comment on this situation?

I am thinking if there are errors we should get things corrected for the historical record

Can anyone send a picture of sub lettered FW&D GP38-2's showing the sublettering.
