I believe it was in 1955 because that's when the I-GN was merged into the MP.

Jeff, the FWDC was incorporated in Texas due to a law requiring
railroads operating in Texas to be incorporated in Texas.  So a number
of railroads had Texas subsidiaries.  I don't recall exactly when it was
repealed, I think early 1960's.  Norm Metcalf, Boulder Colorado
