I am building an O-Scale model of a CB&Q NE-4 waycar. I have found some very nice O-Scale Grandt Line marker lamps and lamp holders for the model. I would like to get the correct orientation for the colored lenses of the marker lamps at the rear of the waycar. I believe that the Q's practice was to have a red lens protecting the rear of the train. Can anyone confirm the color of the lenses to the sides and front? I have seen a color photo of a waycar in a museum with a marker lamp at the rear that seems to be green to the sides. I think some other railroads used yellow to indicate the sides of their cabooses. So I would like to receive some confirmation of the Q's practice. Thanks in advance for all help. Later, Dave Sarther Tucson, AZ |
