Most of the R-O-W for the "incline" track was removed north of the Spring Street overpass to make way for the access road and parking lot along the east side of the platforms. In other words, the "incline" track ain't a-comin' back in it's old location. My point is that there simply were no CB&Q tracks at street-level south of Spring Street as has been contended. Also blocking the way was a CB&Q Company materials warehouse along Spring Street. There *was* a short spur across North Broadway that went to the old Aurora Pump plant and no further. The City of Aurora was thrilled when that grade crossing was removed! Michael Herren Aurora ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
