As it seems kinda quiet around here, I'll ask this question that has been rolling around in my head for a while now. At the end of "Q" branch lines where there was no connection to another railroad or "Q" main, what generally was the preferred method to turn a locomotive? Turntable or a Wye? If a turntable, any idea as to type? I know they used truss type at some of the larger engine terminal (photos of Denver and Eola come to mind), but I am looking for what may have been used at the end of a light to medium density branch. Thanks gang in advance for your help and information. Greg K Minnesota ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
