Thanks, Leo, for the feedback on the Oregon turn. The second question concerns traffic patterns at Oregon. Assuming that the major customers were National Silica, Carnation and Kable Bros. at Mt. Morris, what moved east and what moved west from Oregon? Kable Bros. mail cars went to Chicago, but where did the silica go and the Carnation products? I read someplace that Schiller Piano Company was still manufacturing 6,000 pianos annually in the 60's. Does anyone remember working that spur? And finally, what time of day did PU normally run and what power was assigned to PU and 83 (F's or Geeps)? Thanks, again, very much. Bob Herrick ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
