PS- Did you ever run into Bruce Turner on the BN?  He was a Trainmaster and lived in Bolingbrook in the early 70’s and we were in a Model Railroad Club together then.  He was an N Scaler and had a rather nice layout that we operated.  I believe he is retired in the St. Louis area after working Crawford Hill and at the Menk (the Fink) Center in Fort Worth.

Hi folks,

I'm a retired BNSF train dispatcher and lifelong railfan who grew up near Chicago and spent some time trackside in the '60's photographing trains in the area, many along the Burlington. With some new-found time on my hands I've been scanning in some of the slides that I've unearthed, along with current efforts as well, and I thought the group might find at least some of them to be of interest. The gallery is arranged in (somewhat) chronological order, starting around 1964, but no particular order as to railroad.
