Rich,
I was referring to the late 1930’s and early 40’s, based on the Burlington
Route Passenger Trains V1 by Strauss, plus the consists distributed a few years
ago thru the BRHS by Mike Spoor.

Scott,
What year on the Blackhawk consist? In the early1950's they were using 8-5
sleepers, not 10-1-1's.

Bob is correct. I forwarded his email to Tom at NKP Car Company and got this
response. I don’t see this 10-1-1 listed anywhere on his website, so wonder
what other CB&Q or Pullman models are available that aren’t listed. I’ve been
waiting years for Branchline to finally produce this car, and now I can finally
get the Rice Lake or Bass Lake 10-1-1 for my Blackhawk consist.

NKP Car has a 10/1/1 kit featuring all BLT parts (including injection molded
sides) except the roof - which is a correct custom cast resin roof. $55/car
plus s&h.

Until Atlas takes over production, forget the
10-1-1. NKP car has created a kit that includes
the 10-1-1 sides with a proper roof. BLI never
did produce the 10-1-1 roof. They also have a lot of 10-1-1- sides.
By this time, finding painted, unlettered is
going to be tough. Haven't seen them in
years. NKP has a lot of other BLI parts, I
would try them & Des Plaines Hobby.
