What you heard is true.  I have tried ordering several Branchline products 
recently , and it seems almost all stocks have been depleted.   The Atlas web - 
site talks about producing some items , does not go into any details.   Seems 
you need to check local hobby guys and swap meets quickly.

I have heard that Branchline has sold their Blueprint Series of passenger and 
freight cars line to Atlas. Wonder if Atlas will continue to offer these cars 
or not.
