I do have a little bit of information on the lake at Waltonville Illinois. It's from "The Prairie Historian", a collection of bulletins from the local historical society. They are the memories of the locals there and a few newspaper clippings. There are a few tidbits of information about the CB&Q in general too. Please let me know if anyone is interested. One thing I found interesting, mentioned in the book, was that there was a pond in Woodlawn IL, that used to hold geese that were driven into town from the area, untill they were shipped on the RR. I am not sure if it was for the L&N or the Q, but I am sure it was parcticed by a lot of the railroads ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
